Although the city of Pittsburgh delivered a steady diet if snow this weekend, the Bears Pee Wee Mitchell team was focused on one thing only this President's Day weekend --- icing The Steel City Classic!
The road to Districts and Nationals continues for the Bears top Midget teams. The Bears Midget 18AA and 16AA teams are well in the hunt as both have advanced thru traditional state playoffs to Championship Weekend on March 12-14th.
In addition to taking the Gold Medal for winning the recent Congressional Cup in Washington D.c., last month, our Squirt Bears also scored big for Haiti relief!
Members of the Bears Peewee AA team helped drop off all the donated hockey gear to the Hockey in Newark kids, last weekend. The large cache of hockey equipment, was the result of the Bridgewater Bears Hockey Club's 2nd Annual Equipment Drive to benefit Hockey in Newark.
The Bridgewater Bears club had a very productive MLK weekend, as they had teams score Gold in several brackets at the Congressional Cup Mid-Winter Classic tournanment.
